Charl is a developer/programmer of note who recently won a Google Summer of Code award. He is an open source fanatic and (along with Stii) the co-founder of myXchange. He does not drink the same beverage twice in a row on the same evening - an x-ray of him standing upright after a myXchange meeting will most prolly look more like a photo copy of Harry's menu.

Beverly is into marketing and promotions. Her company arranges/sells upmarket corporate gifts, clothing and stationery. She also has quite the knack for Google Search Engine Optimisation. She's a very active blogger and open source disciple. She has thus proven that open source chicks rule and would like to encourage more geekygirls to join in the open source festivities.

Imel is a programmer who recently re-located to the Garden Route from Brittian. He is still employed as programmer by a British company. He is also very enthusiastic about and involved in local tourism (he owns/runs a guest house in Wilderness) and is also involved in property development. It goes without saying that he is an avid open source supporter/enthusiast.

Jacques is a graphic designer who only migrated to the web design side of things early in 2006. He used to manage an independant local media group up until then and is a bit of a Jack-of-all-trades. He blogs about anything and everything, but mostly about nothing. As far as open source goes ... he would best be swayed by some really nifty design software that kicks Photoshop in the jewels, but until then will be stuck with windows and whatever open source software is available. He would like to remind you that sharing is indeed caring.

Stiaan is a web developer/database programmer of note. He is the co-founder of myXchange and prolly more enthusiastic about open source than anyone we know. According to him, source code should be there for all to view in all it's glory. Stiaan is currently busy with development work for some of the biggest names in South Africa. He also blogs profusely about stuff so technical that the most technical of geeks frown while reading his blog.

Gerry is another member from the marketing fraternity with more marketing experience under his belt than any other person we know. He's an ideas man who happens to be the brainbox behind the very fresh and innovative GO2SA community driven tourism portals. He's an entrepeneur, a blogger and a big open source fan. He generally blogs about marketing, tourism and his accommodations (for the sake of making others jealous).
